Item Description
9" tall toy w/felt/plush fabric-covered tin body Fred Flintstone figure w/soft vinyl head and yarn hair seated atop tin litho base designed like rocks. Has thin rods in his hands which have plastic drumstick heads. Made in Japan and marked Frankonia, ©1962 Hanna-Barbera Productions. Separate drum set attaches to base and consists of paper-covered tin drum w/illustrated paper drumhead on front, two tin litho drums on top along w/tin litho cymbal. When toy is operating, Fred's arms move up and down playing tin litho drums as both feet move up and down, one playing tin litho turtle cymbal, other playing bass drum. Drumhead has art of Dino in center surrounded by "Fred Flintstone's Bedrock Band" name. Exceptionally nice condition. Plush shows only slightest aging, tin parts show virtually no wear and drum has no splits. VF to Exc. appearance. Great color and design.
