Item Description
9" tall (12.5" tall to top of socket) metal and vinyl figural lamp. Arch Lamp Mfg. Corp. © Harvey Famous Cartoons. c. 1960. Nice figural image of "Casper" w/name across chest. Lamp works and was used as display in wholesale showroom, complete w/foil tag (w/penciled stock number and "Casper" name on back), which has crease at center. Even aging to Casper's vinyl body and scattered wear to fingertips, one w/tiny nick. Fine/VF. Comes w/7" tall original paper shade w/carousel scene showing Casper, the Ghostly Trio, Wendy riding Nightmare and Spooky riding ostrich. This also has original Arch foil tag (again w/penciled stock number/name), which shows wear. Shade is aged and shows wear as displayed, w/.75" puncture by ostrich's head. Scattered moisture staining, but not overly distracting. Fine overall. Scarce.
