Item Description
This is the set of three wind-ups in this musician series from the 1950s. These are - Pluto the Drum Major, Donald the drummer and Mickey Mouse with xylophone. Each is all tin litho version, Donald is marked "Marx" while the other two are marked "Linemar." Each is about 6" tall and has built-in key. All work and play their instruments, Pluto also produces a squeaking sound as if blowing on the horn in his mouth. Pluto comes with very nicely illustrated box. Back panel has 1.5" puncture. Other panels have some slight warping with light creases but box remains tight and bright for display. Fine. Each toy has general scattered light wear with some paint nicks. Pluto has original rubber wheels and tail, Mickey also has rubber tail. These two are VF. Donald shows slightly more wear, Fine. Great set.
