Item Description
Plates are 10.25" dia. w/additional text "To The Hon. Woodrow Wilson April 8th 1912 'The Onondaga'". At center is an ornate oval frame w/a dining scene featuring a gentleman raising his glass to toast. Both plates have surface wear consistent w/light use. VF. Also included is a 2.25" dia. glazed ceramic wall mount match holder. Each side has portrait of Wilson and front has text "We Appreciate Your Trade P. H. Luecke & Co., Giddings, Texas." Typical surface crazing but otherwise appears to be unused. Exc. The first example we can recall w/this imprint.
