Item Description
12" tall doll by Cameo of the famous Fleischer cartoon character w/composition head and body, jointed wood arms/legs. c. 1930s. Doll was produced in three different colors, this black version is the rarest. Complete "Betty Boop" heart-shaped decal on dress. Doll has typical crazing to body/dress, w/crazing more moderate to face and sides of body (tiny chip under one arm). Top of head has large area of repainting and pointed tips of dress hemline has some paint touch-ups as well. Doll has some moderate aging to wood jointed legs and arms and has been re-strung. VG/Fine overall.
