Item Description
10x11.5x3" deep box contains set of 8 glasses each 4-5/8" tall. c. 1938. While each features same design as the single color first dairy series glasses, these are the much rarer two-color varieties. Box lid features large portrait of Snow White surrounded by smaller portraits of the Dwarfs along with text "Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs On Genuine Libbey Safedge Tumblers." Has additional company text on back panel. Box has all-over obvious aging and heavy dust soiling. Lid is loose with edge tears and creases with some clear tape repairs to underside of lid. Box bottom corners remain tight. Overall box is just Good but the first box we've seen. The black on Happy and Grumpy glasses has scattered loss of the glossy finish but all color remains, the other six glasses have full gloss. Set is Exc.
