6.5" tall painted composition depicts Pinocchio riding on top of a turtle. Underside has metal trap but key is missing. 1940. Underside of Pinocchio's left foot has .25x.5" chip. .25" paint flake on left knee. Also has .25" paint flake on back of hat at feather and paint rub on nose tip. Other scattered small color rubs and dust soiling. Still a nice example for this type of bank which usually exhibits extensive crazing, not the case for this one. Fine. While we have had other Pinocchio banks by Crown, this is the first of this style we have seen.
