Item Description
6x8x8.75" tall beautifully painted and glazed ceramic. 1939. Very impressive jar depicts the coachman with whip and sword at his left, right hand holds a pipe. Has just two extremely minor flaws which are mentioned only for complete accuracy. There are a pair of .25" to .5" hairlines caused during the firing process and both are only noticeable upon extremely close inspection. One is on the front of his hat brim, the other is on front left edge of his collar. Again, these are extremely minor and piece remains Exc. One of the rarest Disney ceramic items. This is the first we have ever offered. This item is featured on the front cover of "Disneyana Collectors Guide To California Pottery."
