Item Description
3-7/8x6-7/8x7/8" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 1x1.5" chrome luster metal case watch w/original vinyl-covered leather bands. Ingersoll/US Time, ©1947 WDE. Box lid is labeled "The New Donald Duck Wrist Watch" and pictures this watch as well as the matching Daisy Duck watch. Lid shows slightest fade and wear. VF/Exc. Complete w/illustrated die-cut insert depicting Donald as if he holds watch in his hands. Insert is evenly aged w/some creases around die-cut opening and scattered small surface paper flakes. Fine/VF. Clean and bright dial depicts Donald w/animated hands. Watch bands have original "Ingersoll $6.95 Plus Tax" foil price band (see Deluxe version, following item #1565) and show some aging but very little wear. Slight luster wear mostly to back of case. Watch can be wound and ticks, but needs a cleaning to keep time. Displays NM. Old store stock. Comes w/instruction/guarantee folder. Scarce w/box.
