Item Description
Lot includes two die-cut stiff paper masks measuring 8.25x8.75" and 7x8.5" and two Valentine cards; 4.5x6" and 5x7.25". All 1930s. One mask is authorized and bears Fleischer Studios copyright stamp on back while other is unauthorized and features unusual depiction. Authorized mask has metal attachments at left/right for attaching string (missing). Some lt. scattered handling wear but VF overall. Unauthorized mask has archival tape added to back of eye holes, securing areas designed to be punched out. Exc. Both Valentines feature great likenesses of Betty Boop, one as redhead, one as blonde. Both have action feature; blonde card has fold-out fan and redhead card has pull lever that tips tray in waitress Betty's hand. Both have penciled name on reverse. VF/Exc. overall.
