Item Description
2-3/8x4.5x1" deep hinged lid Ingersoll box w/repeat Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow images on the outside and additional image of Mickey on lid interior. Same design as the US box but w/added text of "Reproduced With The Consent Of Walter E. Disney - This Box Printed And Made In England." Box is complete w/plain orange cardboard box insert. Box lid is separated at hinge and shows moderate scattered wear at corners and along edges. VG. This is the second version, produced c. 1934. Pocket watch w/2" dia. silvered brass case has celluloid dial featuring a much more traditional-looking Mickey Mouse image than earlier version. Also has second wheel w/three small Mickey images. Watch case retains much luster and shows scattered wear on back. Displays Exc. Dial remains bright and clean. Displays NM. Works. Watch comes w/Ingersoll guarantee slip and is scarce as boxed.
