Item Description
1.5" with W&H paper which came into use in 1913. Superb color depiction with outer rim of holly accented by red berries enclosing snowy scene with bi-plane in background, pine tree at left and Santa, wearing aviator goggles across his red hat, posing with arms full of dolls and toys including a small teddy bear head. Inscription is "Merry Christmas Wyman's." Only the second example we've seen with this imprint. The far left side has been pressed in just the very slightest bit but this is noticeable only to the touch and the appearance of the button remains Mint with high gloss. Our last example, in almost identical condition except this includes the back paper, realized in excess of $300.
