Item Description
13/16" to 1.25". Group begins with rare WWII issue, which has some light brown tone in the area of the "100%" designation. These were issued in Reading, Pa. by Freihoffer Bakery in 1942 with others in the series including Roy Rogers, Bill Boyd, Bill Elliot and Gene Autry. Additional celluloid buttons for Starrett, Red Ryder, and Little Beaver. Also a 1-1/8" litho for the "Red Ryder Pony Contest." Bottom seven buttons are the cowboy stars from a small set of buttons issued by Quaker Puffed Wheat And Rice in the late 40s. Included are Jack Carson, Elliott, Hale, Holt, Ladd, Mitchum, and Morgan. All Exc. to Mint with the one exception.  Snuff Garrett Collection.
