Item Description
14x36" insert poster for the original 1956 release of the Western based on "The Lone Ranger" TV series, starring Clayton Moore as The Lone Ranger and Jay Silverheels as Tonto. The first of two theatrical features based on the popular TV series of the same name (the other is 1958's "The Lone Ranger And The Lost City Of Gold"; see item #1613). Poster is dominated by large image of Lone Ranger (w/Tonto and Silver in bkg.) and features additional image of him riding Silver at top. Poster is evenly aged and has three horizontal folds as issued. Pin holes at corners w/additional pin hole at top and center right of main image area. Top/bottom margins show scattered wear w/a few small tears. Fine overall.
