14x36" insert poster for the original release of the 1953 Warner Bros. Horror film, the first color 3D feature from a major American studio, premiering just two days after the Columbia Pictures film "Man In The Dark," the first major-studio bw 3D feature. Directed by Andre DeToth and starring Vincent Price, who is not featured on poster, which instead opted to promote their 3D features, showing showgirl kicking her foot up, appearing larger each of the two times she appears to emerge from screen. Poster has three horizontal folds (w/two additional horizontal creases) as issued and shows obvious wear. Top right margin has note card attached to back, effectively filling in 1" V-shaped margin hole. This area has moderate age staining. Top left corner has 2" area of surface paper loss to back, resulting in some thinness to paper. Lower left corner has 2.25" tear. Pin holes at corners. Back has dealer inkstamp, which does not show through onto front. VG.
