Item Description
22x28" half-sheet poster for the original American release of the 1962 British spy film, the first in the long-running James Bond series, and the first to star Sean Connery as 007. Poster notes film as "The First James Bond Film Adventure!" and features a subtle play on Mitchell Hooks' original poster design, featuring Connery and four Bond Girls (including Ursula Andress, Eunice Gayson, Zena Marshall and Marguerite LeWars) w/pistol outline bkg. Poster has been folded into quarters and has pin holes at corners and staple holes at top/bottom center margins. Some corner tip wear w/.5" spot of surface paper lift at top left corner and .5" spot of tape residue at upper right. Backs of top corners have brown paper tape added, not affecting front's display. Fine.
