Item Description
Lot of three (of five) 6x6" glazed ceramic tiles, each bearing different portrait of Beatles w/their signature - John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, Missing only Paul McCartney and fifth tile featuring group image. This scarce set of tiles were made in England, 1964 and back of each is stamped "Dorincourt Potters Oaklawn Rd. Leatherhead Sheltered Industry" and each has raised "Carter Tiles - Made In England." Lennon tile has .25" corner chip at bottom right w/partial glue fill-in and Ringo has 1/8" corner tip off upper left. Both of these tiles are Fine/VF overall while Harrison tile is NM. All are bright and glossy, nice quality pieces.
