Item Description
©1978 DC Comics. 6x6.5x16.5" illustrated box containing 8" Type 2 Mego poseable figure with polyester suit, oven mitt gloves and 14" long plastic shark with battery powered motor and movable jaw. Designed to profit on the release of the second "Jaws" movie. Just like the movie, the shark set was not a big money maker. Box is missing window. Box has heavy overall wear with creases on all panels. The front panel has two tears that go from bottom edge of window to bottom of box. A tear on top flap in center that runs halfway down and a two inch tear on one end flap. There are two tears on bottom of box. Good. Aquaman is fastened on inner box and appears Exc. Shark has a few small marks on and around nose. Motor is untested, runs on 1 AA battery. Displays Exc. Considered by most as one of the hardest to find Mego pieces and a must have. Rick Whitelock Collection.
