Item Description
2x2x6" papier-mache. Removing the top reveals a figural painted plaster mother dog feeding three puppies and text on the interior of the lid reads "A Real Cafeteria." The wood panel, w/mother dog affixed, lifts out and underside features portrait of Washington "1776" and Coolidge "1926". Foxing affecting portrait of Washington and a surface paper break diagonally along the left third. Moderate paint wear to outer surface of hot dog and tape residue at center of outer base. Overall VG. A most unusual artifact of the Sesquicentennial.
