Item Description
5.5" long bright gold text on blue fabric ribbon and the earliest non-paper item we've ever seen for a steam traction engine. Text on the item is "Souvenir Of The Franklin County Centennial/Sept. 9, 1884/Frick & Co./Waynesboro, Pa." Pictured is their Eclipse model steam powered traction engine with the image of the machine including very tiny text on its boiler naming the company and their home town. On the right 1" down from the top there is a hairline horizontal split but only 3/8" in length. In addition a tiny bit of fabric is off the bottom left corner tip. The ribbon remains in remarkably bright and clean condition with nearly all the gold color intact. We consider this among the rarest farm equipment items we've ever been able to offer.
