Item Description
Each 1.25" and each with W&H paper although second and fourth buttons include additional text the first being a novelty jobber in Paris, Illinois and the second naming a jobber "Gem Novelty Co." in Cleveland. Group begins with outstanding design and color cartoon button showing Uncle Sam punching "Spain" in the face with yellow stars and red drops of blood flying into the air. Captioned "Remember The 'Maine' Gosh Darn Yer."This example is essentially Mint. Second shows the ship "Maine". Third has slogan "Remember The Maine/Dewey?/Well We Guess We Do." Last depicts a dog standing above the text "We Want To C/U/B/A Customer Of Ours/Arcade Hat Box" with an address in "Cleveland." Light tan marks around about 50% of the perimeter. All buttons have full gloss and all are NM to Mint with this one exception.
