Item Description
2.5x3.25x1" deep cardboard box w/illustrated label showing "A Hit" anti-Hitler defecating firework novelty. 1940s. Box shows moderate wear w/water stain on lid. VG. Comes w/1.75" tall painted white metal figurine, hollow w/hole on rear end as produced along w/small tin pan for placement during use. Figurine comes w/small cardboard tube containing several "Eggs Of Pharaoh's Serpents" pills that expand into snake-like form when lit. Lower rear of hollow Hitler figure is blackened from use as novelty was designed to appear as if Hitler was defecating. Scattered lt. paint wear. VF overall. One of the more interesting anti-Hitler novelties produced during World War II. Mark Treitel Collection.
