Item Description
Macman Enterprises Corp. distributed a variety of Marvel vending machine items including several different types of rings, stickers, and more. All date to 1966, the Golden Age of Marvelmania merchandise. Offered here is a 3x4" glossy paper label w/original plastic bag stapled to it. This is a vendor sample and comes w/the Spider-Man vinyl flexi-ring in red, 1.5" tall. The label has large Spidey image at center w/smaller images around this of Iron Man, Thor and Captain America. Bottom has 1966 Marvel Comics Group ©. This "label" and poly bag are listed in a Macman retailer's order form (image shown online for catalog purposes only, not included) but this is the first actual example of the label we have seen and it is not listed in J. Ballman's Marvel Silver Age Collectibles guide. Bag shows wear but label is Exc. Ring is NM. A true Marvel rarity.
