Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid featuring graphics of Superman lifting tank and side panel graphics on two sides w/Superman facing tank contains battery-operated Line Mar toy, ©1958 Superman Co. Inc. Box shows moderate scattered aging/wear w/obvious wear to lid including .75" split at one corner w/1x1.25" hole and another 1" hole at another corner and 3.5" corner split. Box is evenly aged and VG overall. Box contains 4.5" tall by 8" long tin litho tank (all dark green variety, toy also produced in other colors/combinations) w/wire rods on front which attach to 4.5" tall tin litho Superman figure w/fabric cape. Missing one tab on back bumper but all functions work, Tank moves forward and backward, stops, then Superman lifts it up and down. Tank has scattered wear in the form of small nicks/scratches, w/some small factory paint touch-ups. VF. Superman figure and cape are aged and figure lt. wear VF. Rare. Richard Calusdian Collection.
