Item Description
5.25" tall vinyl figure. Produced by Poynter Products, Inc. ©1968 Walt Kelly. From a series that included Albert, Churchy, Howland, Hepzibah, Beauregard and Pogo. Available for a very short time as Walt Kelly disliked the sculpts and the line was quickly canceled. Later Kelly made smaller sculpts himself and those figures became the more common P&G premiums that came with soap. No fishing rod or cello fish. Figure shows some wear w/paint rubs to nose and back at coat bottom. No fur on collar. Displays Fine. Scarce. We have only offered a few figures from this rare set in our 51 years.
