Item Description
Previously unknown size of 15" tall felt-like stuffed Minnie Mouse doll w/pattern fabric skirt and felt flower attached to thread-covered wire by ear. Nice pie-eye accents and red, hand-threaded mouth. Original felt ears and complete w/original string whiskers and thin fabric tail. Made by Needleart Toys and distributed by George Borgfeldt & Co. under their "Nifty" toys name, early 1930s. Doll has trace of scattered wear to surfaces of arms w/dust soiling to hands. VF/Exc. overall. Very rare and the first of this size we have offered in our 51 years, and just the fourth of any Mickey and Minnie Mouse dolls we have offered from this company. Easily among the highest quality Minnie Mouse dolls made in the 1930s.
