Item Description
8x12" die-cut cardboard countertop display w/easel back holds four empty production boxes for ELM Toys (a Hong Kong-based subsidiary of Marx) plastic race cars w/figural plastic Disney character drivers. 1950s. Display features racetrack design w/image of racecars speeding about. Left has Mickey Mouse portrait and right has "10¢" price. Boxes features four different racer/character designs - Mickey, Donald Duck, Pluto and Goofy. Of note, each is pictured in different style racer and each box has their name. Mickey and Goofy boxes show moderate wear w/creasing. These boxes are VG/Fine overall. Pluto box has crease across it and is Fine. Donald box is Exc. Display shows just lt. wear and is Exc. Rare and first we've offered in our 51 years.
