Item Description
Complete set of eight 11x14" lobby cards for the original release of the 1942 adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's novel of the same name, starring Sabu. Sabu is pictured fighting Shere Khan the tiger on title card as other jungle animals watch. Sabu appears one all but one of the cards. Cards are evenly aged w/scattered corner tip and margin wear. Two cards remain free from pin holes though one has 1" tear at bottom center w/tape repair on reverse. Three others have aged tape repairs on back, including one card that has reinforcement added to back of 4.75" long hairline slice. Card showing Sabu as Mowgli standing in front of Buddha statue has .75x1.5" photocopy replacement added to lower left margin. One card has eraser mark to Mowgli's face. Cards are VG to Fine overall.
