Item Description
11x14" lobby card for the original release of the 1930 pre-Code RKO comedy based on the top-rated "Amos 'N' Andy" radio show. Card shows both Amos (Freeman Gosden) and Andy (Charles Correll) meeting w/Kingfish (Russ Powell). All three are depicted in blackface. Lobby card has even aging w/scattered dust soiling to margins. Upper left has .25" dark stain and title has faint 1/8" dot between first two letters and some small spots of staining to second letter of "Andy" in title. Right margin has 3.5" streak of moisture staining. Fine overall. Richard Calusdian Collection.
