Item Description
1.25" with a rarely seen backpaper design by Bastian. The device pictured in use dates back to 1861 and claimed the distribution of seeds over four to eight acres was possible in an hour at a walking pace. The gentleman farmer is shown operating the seeder with tiny dashes completely covering the button's front surface to illustrate seeds flying in the air. The slogan is "50 Years Of Success/As Ye Sow So Shall Ye Reap". A rarity and we think one of the best ever button designs. Mint.
