Item Description
Sizes 1-3/8" to 3" with all done in litho tin. The Hopalong Cassidy Savings Club was a nationwide program sponsored by local banks capitalizing on the immense popularity of Hoppy to attract children depositors who were rewarded as their savings accounts progressed from $2.00 earning them the "Tenderfoot" button up through the top rank of "Foreman" awarded when the account reached $500.00. As the ranks progress, the buttons range from common (Tenderfoot, Wrangler, Bulldogger) ) to scarce (Bronc Buster, Trail Boss) and very scarce for the top two (Straw Boss, Foreman). In addition to these seven buttons, is the button worn by bank teller's with the "Ask Me" promotional text. A complete set for the 1950 promotion and in outstanding Exc. to Mint condition.
