Item Description
5.25" tall hand-painted figural plaster ashtray featuring great fully dimensional caricature image including large open mouth for use as ashtray. ©1942 Bassons Dummy Products. Marketed as "Ob-Nox-Shus Togo," ashtray has incised designer name on back of base along w/patent number. Bassons also produced a matching Hitler ashtray as part of this series, see item #880. Surface has lt. scattered wear w/scattered paint wear. Inside of mouth has .5" air hole as produced. Jaw has 3.25" glue repair w/.25" chip at edge of crack by neck. Thin .25" long chip along crack on underside. VG overall. Rare. Mark Treitel Collection.
