Item Description
6" long with small pieces missing from the lower edges, some pin sized holes mostly on the bottom 1", and some moisture marks on bottom 2". Issued for his re-election campaign. "The Soldiers' Friend" refers to Curtin's efforts to provide support to wounded soldiers on the battlefield and the founding of the state-funded Orphan's School to aid and educate the children of military men who sacrificed their lives for the Union cause. Rare and VG.
