Item Description
30x38.25" poster features art by Martha Sawyers depicting aerial machine gunner having shot down enemy plane. Text at top reads "You Can't Afford To Miss Either!" w/"Buy Bonds Every Payday text at bottom. Lower left is marked "Official U.S. Treasury Poster" while lower right notes O-607943 number. 1944. Folded into sixths as issued, poster has some scattered margin wear at fold lines (including 1" tears at right edge) and tiny holes at fold crease intersections. Fine overall but would display nicely if framed. Mark Treitel Collection.
