Item Description
1.75" with concave tin back, fixed horizontal bar pin and stamped logo of Photo Jewelry Mfg. Co. Chicago w/ 1898 patent date. We know of only one other button and one non-button example that came off a spring clip. All over stain but quite consistent in tone and still with un- faded color and full gloss. Bottom area between the two lines of text has about 6 tiny craze lines ( 1/16" or so) but these are seen only with magnification. First button example we've been able to offer in 51 years.  Also see three J.I. Case issued Confederate Re-Union buttons in our War section, items #818-820. VG.
