Item Description
27x41" one-sheet poster for the original 1966 release of the Roger Corman-directed motorcycle film, made three years before "Easy Rider" and was the first film to associate actor Peter Fonda w/Harley-Davidson motorcycles and 1960s counterculture. It was also the film that inspired the outlaw biker film genre that continued into the early 1970s. The film also starred Nancy Sinatra, who is pictured on poster by Reynold Brown on motorcycle w/Fonda, who leads motorcycle gang. Of note, several (as well as Fonda) sport Nazi swastikas on their outfits/helmets. Poster has been folded as issued and shows lt. wear at fold crease intersections w/pin holes across top margin. Some scattered margin wear. Poster has moisture staining to lower left corner and some smudging at top center. Both of these issues could be matted out for a nice framed display. Fine overall.
