Item Description
18.5x25.75" on thin paper on vintage canvas mounting. Map listing the status of women's right to vote in each state. This example was updated by hand w/various notations and additions made to update the map as history unfolded. As an example the state of Texas, original black for no suffrage has a hand cut paper applied that has been shaded for partial suffrage and having notation at center "June 28, '19". Obvious heavy wear including vertical and horizontal fold w/tiny holes at junctions, handling and small edge tears. Good. A rare print w/a unique folk art quality.
