Item Description
8.75" long. Unlisted in Sullivan/Fischer. Additional text below portrait of Blaine reads "Williamsport Reception Committee, Oct. 27th, 1886." Despite his narrow loss in 1884 Blaine remained active in politics and stumped for Congressional candidates in 1886. Five tiny pin holes in margin at top otherwise only minor wear. Exc. A rare artifact of Blaine's speaking tour through Pennsylvania here supporting the successful Gubernatorial campaign of James A. Beaver. Ron Koot Collection.
