Item Description
Two photocopies (not shown) come with this group. One is a June 15, 1926 Memorandum showing  a total by rank of 343 officers in the Sesqui police department. Second is a list of officers' names  with the original owners of these badges among those listed. Group includes two 4.5x10.5" mailing envelopes for return of the badges at event conclusion. Inked text on one is "Ret. by  Katherine Martin #6" (envelope worn/Good) and other (VF) "Ret. by 49  F Hill 1 Badge 1 ( can't read) Key".  The "6" badge is 2-11/16" tall, slightly convex and nickel-plated. It reads "Sesqui Centennial Policewoman Phila. Pa." The "49" badge of matching design says "Police". Small tarnish spot at top edge. There is a second "49" "Police" badge of a different design showing Liberty Bell. This has threaded post with screw cap to wear on a hat. Tiny loss of plating. Last is silvered key referenced on the envelope with Bell shown on one side and other side text "Sesqui-Centennial 1776-1926". All VF to Exc. except the one envelope. Unique items.
