Item Description
This Brown Shoe Company premium brass ring with adjustable bands is from the post-World War II years. On the top are the raised brass logo images of Buster with Tige next to him. In our 51 years, we've encountered the standard design probably 50 times. That design has the small full figure images on the ring's side panels of Froggy the Gremlin and Midnight the Cat. This ring has no side panel images. We've seen this and one other example so two known to us. The ring is likely associated with the radio program introduced in 1944 Smilin' Ed's Buster Brown Gang. Luster off lower bands but most remains on top half. Rare and Fine. See Buster Brown items #654-658.
