Item Description
2" dia. chromed metal case pocket watch produced in 1933 for distribution in the United Kingdom. Celluloid dial features early, non-traditional image of Mickey Mouse which was quickly revised to the traditional face and thinner body w/issue of the second English Ingersoll (see later versions, following items #1713-1714). Animated hands. Watch also has a second hand disc w/three small Mickey images. Case shows just minor wear w/near full luster. Running and Exc. Dial is NM. Choice example of this scarce pocket watch.
