Item Description
8" tall (12" to top of raised handle) tin litho. Ohio Art, 1930s. Great wraparound scene of Mickey Mouse pushing Minnie Mouse on cart along the Atlantic City boardwalk. Large "Atlantic City" name at top. Handle has a single .5" hairline crease across its width and one of the two rivets holding it to the pail is a replacement. The walls of the interior retain most of their green paint but are covered by small brown oxidation marks while the green paint is totally gone from the interior base and this is an oxidized brown color. Exterior has some scattered wear but remains very glossy. Dark 3/16" wide by .5" tall mark above Mickey's nose. Another mark of significance is at the base of Minnie's upper ear where there is some surface oxidation of the metal removing some black paint from a spot about .25" wide by .5" long. There are probably a dozen or so similar marks about .25" dia. and for the most part positioned towards the back of the pail, well away from the illustration area. While pail shows some obvious age and use, it still displays Fine.
