Item Description
1.25" button promoting specific day and reading "Oct. 22 1927/The Bulletin/Col. Charles A. Lindbergh". This button was issued by the Philadelphia Bulletin to promote its coverage of Lindbergh as his goodwill tour of 48 states and 92 cities came into the home stretch. On Oct. 22, the date on this button, Lindbergh flew from Wilmington, DE via Chester and Media, PA to Philadelphia. The next day he left Philadelphia and concluded his three month tour when he landed at Mitchel Field, Long Island, New York.  A rare button and essentially Mint.
