Item Description
In the late 1960s these buttons were offered via mail order only as part of fan club kits that were advertised in Motown concert programs. Nine different artists were represented w/the full kit including a button, photos, bio sheet and membership card. Each button is 2.5" w/great photo images and designs. The lot comes w/a photocopy of the order from from a program that lists the artists in this series (Jimmy Ruffin is listed but we have never seen a button for him and don't believe it was ever produced). This lot includes Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, 4 Tops, Temptations, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Marvelettes, Martha And The Vandellas and two varieties for The Supremes. Set is only missing Jr Walker. A rare opportunity to obtain this many at one time. Several are the first examples we have offered in our 51 years. All are bright, glossy and Exc. to NM.
