Item Description
Large 40.25x56" OWI poster #8 published by US Government Printing Office #0-488341, 1942 (also published in a smaller 28x40" size). Art by David Stone Martin features image of raised arms of soldier w/rifle and two workers (man and woman), holding tools. Text reads "Strong In The Strength Of The Lord We Who Fight In The People's Cause Will Never Stop Until That Cause Is Won." Folded as issued, poster is now rolled and has been linen-mounted w/very minor restoration along fold lines. Displays VF as framed and would make for a very impressive framed display. Classic World War II homefront graphics.
