Item Description
Pair of 1930s Betty Boop bisques made in Japan, both featuring similar design (in different sizes/colors), depicting Betty in hat and stylish knee-length dress rather than her more revealing skimpy outfit. Larger bisque stands 5" tall and has name along w/Fleischer Studios copyright incised on back. Scattered paint wear and bisque does not stand for display w/o propping. Fine. Smaller 2.75" bisque features less painted detail but utilizes same design as larger bisque. This version also has name along w/Fleischer Studios copyright incised on back. Trace wear to tips of shoes, o/w NM and stands for display.
