Item Description
7.5x9x1" deep box contains three 7.25x8.25" puzzles (most sets were issued w/just two puzzles; this is scarce set issued w/three). Wilder Mfg. Co. Set No. 434, ©1932 Fleischer Studios. Box lid has "Betty Boop And Bimbo, Paramount Stars, Created By Fleischer Studios" text. Box lid features Betty Boop on horseback riding along w/Bimbo and Koko the Clown nearby. First puzzle shows circus scene w/Bimbo leading parade which includes Betty on elephant. Second puzzle has same art as lid. Third puzzle features scene from the opening sequence of Betty Boop's 1931 cartoon "Dizzy Red Riding Hood." Missing one piece and Fine/VF overall. Other puzzles have one or two puzzle pieces w/lt. wear but puzzles are o/w Exc. Box lid has one corner split w/moderate restoration to sides. Majority of lid labels remain untouched aside from 1" tear at upper left. Box displays VF overall. Scarce set.
