Item Description
27x41" one-sheet poster for the original release of the 1940 Paramount Pictures Western directed by Howard Bretherton and starring William Boyd (Hopalong Cassidy), Russell Hayden, Britt Wood, Morris Ankrum, Jan Clayton, Wright Kramer and Donald Kirke. Poster features large, full body image of Boyd strapped to wagon wheel. Folded as issued, poster has moderate even aging and scattered margin wear in the form of a few small tears. Two small 1/8" pulls along top margin and lower right corner has 2.5" crease w/1" tear. 1" and 2x4" spots of moisture staining between "The" and "Showdown" in title. Additional moisture staining along center horizontal fold line, though this does not distract greatly. Small splits at fold crease intersections. VG overall, but would display nicely if framed.
