Item Description
11.25x12-3/8x2-/8" deep cardboard box w/photo lid contains high quality Tumbleweed Togs boxed holster set by Viral Mfg. Co. 1950s. Box lid has aged tape strips on side panels and at margins of main panel, which has 3.75" aged strip of tape at center, crossing Hopalong Cassidy's face. 1.25" area of surface paper to left of this, w/color touch-up. Left side panel has fade and bottom side panel has eraser mark w/trace writing. Box is Fine overall. Box contains 11.5" tall holster pockets and 30" long belt. Holsters and belt are thick black leather w/felt backings and die-cast silver conchos which have attached high relief gold metal "Hopalong Cassidy" portrait/name. Belt has printed "Hopalong Cassidy" name and holster pockets/belt loops have many shiny luster metal stud accents. Set is unused NM, old store stock. Comes w/added 9" long matched pair of "Hopalong Cassidy" G. Schmidt nickel-plated roll cap guns w/ivory plastic grips that have raised "Hopalong Cassidy" busts and raised "Hopalong Cassidy" text under cylinders. Guns show use, both have one slightly warped grip. One has some lt. pitting and also drops front when fired. VG/Fine.
