Item Description
1973 FOOM ("Friends Of Ol' Marvel") magazine, the first full year of four issues. Includes five of six 3x3" paper sheets which look like stickers although backs are not gummed. Depicts Hulk, Thing (shown smoking), Spider-Man (from "Amazing Spider-Man" Annual #1), Iron Man and FOOM logo. Exc. 2.25x3.75" FOOM membership card is unused w/lt. aging and Exc. Trial subscription included these four issues and issue #4 has checked box stating this was last issue. Magazines feature puzzles, fan art, back issue checklists, info on latest comics on the stands and more. Issue #2 features fan art of a character named "Wolverine" which predates character in comics by a year. Issues have lt. aging/wear. Issue #1 is extra clean with no mailing label or subscription creases. VF/NM. Issue #2 inner part of book is loose and unglued. Appears VF. Issue #3 is VF. Issue #4 has lt. stain lower left front. Fine+. Off-white pages on all.
